MONTHLY WORKSHOPS

WITH THE RUSSIAN "MASTER OF SPORT" TRAINERS

NAILIA ABDOUKADYROV AND ZAKIR ABDOUKADYROV

are held EVERY MONTH.  Since we have a covered arena to ride in, the weather will not make a difference.

(Please see our Calendar of Events page for our workshops, and shows we will be attending)

If you have thought about training with Nella (Nialia), and would like to have a one-hour lesson, or would like to come audit these workshops, this is your opportunity.  Nella enjoys working with all breeds of horses to bring out the best they have to offer.  From her many years of experience with a multitude of horses, she has the keen sense of knowing what you and your horse need to improve your performance at whatever level you are presently working (training through Grand Prix), and the ability to convey that instruction to you in a manner that is easily understood. Nella is currently working Chocolat (one of her client’s horses) at Grand Prix.

A little about Nella:

1.  Dressage rider with degree of "Master of Sport" in Kyrgyzstan.

2.  1987 - Qualified for Russian Grand Prix Championships

3.  1989 - Soviet Union Individual Grand Prix Championships at age 22

4.  1991 - Soviet Union Individual Grand Prix Championships

5.  1992 - Went to China for 5 months to help relocate recently purchased dressage horses and to train the new riders

If you are an event rider, or are starting a young horse, you might enjoy taking dressage lessons from Zakir.  Zakir has a wonderful talent in working with young horses with a kind, firm approach.  His methods are based on clear communication with the horse, and always considerate of what the horse is capable of doing at each stage of training.  (This I know from personal experience.) Zakir is currently working toward showing Diego (one of his client’s horses) at Prix St. Georges in the Fall of 2010.

A little about Zakir:

1.  3-day eventer with degree of "Master of Sport."

2.  1984 - Won Team Gold in the Asian Games

3.  1986 - Qualified for World Championship in Australia

4.  1987 - Qualified for Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea

5.  1990 - Qualified for World Equestrian Games in Stockholm

The best part is that if you wish to only take part in the monthly workshops, that would be fine; but, if you wish to continue with your progress between the workshops, both Zakir and Nella are instructing daily at our barn. The lesson fee is $60. There is a $15 trailer-in fee, or a flat $60/month use fee for students taking lessons. We also have a “holding pen” available, and sometimes two, so that you can watch the rest of the workshop if you so desire. Auditors are also welcome at no charge.
